2021, spotlight on plastics by rose plastic AG
Rose plastic AG, a world leader in rigid plastic packaging for industrial tools, recently obtained the PRS 2021 Green Label after participating in the pallet sharing programme of the Dutch based group PSR. The latter is working to reduce CO2 emissions and plastic waste in supply chains by establishing a circular economy within the European transport, polymers and plastics industry for reusing and sharing CP pallets.
The PSR label is awarded to companies making this circular economy a reality – companies at all levels, which are working to implement sustainable solutions and looking to reduce their environmental impact through the management of their CP pallets.
Turning to already used recycled plastics
The company also received Cradle to Cradle Certified Silver certification in 2021 for its durable protective packaging suitable for transportation, storage and organisation.
Finally, rose plastic AG gained the German Blue Angel eco-label this year, which is awarded to industry members that ensure finished products are made of more than 80% PCR, otherwise known as “post-recycled plastics”. The company has constantly promoted the reuse of recycled materials within its range of almost 4,000 types of packaging, which is now manufactured in compliance with this demanding quality label.
