2021, rose plastic AG in the spotlight
Rose plastic AG, the world’s leading manufacturer of rigid plastic packaging for industrial tools, was recently awarded the PRS 2021 green label for its participation in the pallet pooling program run by the Dutch organisation PSR. The latter is working to reduce CO2 emissions and plastic waste in supply chains by establishing a common circular economy for the controlled reuse and shared use of CP pallets within the European polymers and plastics industry.
The PSR label honours companies that are active in the implementation of this circular economy: companies operating at all levels of industry, who are committed to implementing sustainable development solutions to reduce their impact on the environment, through a more sustainable and reasoned management of their CP pallets.
The use of post-consumer recycled plastics
In 2021, the company also received Cradle to Cradle Certified® Silver certification for its sustainable protective packaging for transport, storage and organization.
Finally, in the same year, rose plastic AG was awarded the German “Blue Angel” eco-label, which is awarded to companies producing finished products made from over 80% PCR, otherwise known as “post-consumer recycled plastics”.
