ProAmpac launches new recyclable fibre technology for high barrier thermoforming applications

Leading flexible packaging and materials science company ProAmpac has launched its latest sustainable technology in Europe: ProActive Recyclable FibreSculpt. This 90% fibre solution is designed for thermoforming applications on a range of products, including chilled cooked meats, deli meats, cheese slices and fish.

There are four key features of this new offering:

• Lightness (reduced packaging compared with flexible, rigid or semi-rigid thermoformed alternatives).
• Optimum operational efficiency (maintaining the speed of the thermoforming line, higher output per roll, reduced changeover times on the filling line).
