Zero Impact Packaging event: it’s tomorrow!
ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS is a partner of the major Zero Impact Packaging conference and networking event, taking place tomorrow, 18 June, in Paris, on the theme of PPWR
‘A movement that brings together the entire packaging sector to innovate, reduce environmental impact and build a sustainable future’: this is how Zero Impact Packaging describes itself. The initiative was launched by Emballages Magazine to help players in the packaging industry tackle the challenges of the ecological transition. A long-standing partner of Emballages Magazine – which organised a conference on QR codes at the last edition of the trade show – ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS is also a partner of the Zero Impact Packaging movement, which will hold a particularly busy day tomorrow, 18 June, at the Laho Business Centre on a highly topical theme: PPWR, the famous European Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation that is shaking up the packaging landscape.
Throughout the day, a series of conferences and round tables will explore all aspects of this new regulation in order to enlighten participants on the intricacies and challenges of PPWR:
- AGEC and PPWR: towards contradictory and complex trade-offs? (moderated by Joanna PELTZMAN, partner at OSBORNE CLARKE)
- How to change perceptions of packaging: the case of food cartons (with Carole FONTA, Managing Director of Alliance Carton Nature)
- How can we turn the ecological transition into a competitive advantage and win consumer confidence? (with Alexandre VERNIER, Packaging Impact Manager at BEL, and Guillaume LASCOURRÈGES, Director of Responsible Development at CLARINS)
- The French and reuse: a new love story? (with Didier ONRAITA-BRUNEAU, President of DAYBYDAY, Nicolas DECHAMBRE, Founder & CEO of CLUB-MATE & ACCENT, and Romain ZANNA-BELLEGARDE, General Manager of Loop France)
- Reinventing e-commerce packaging: the challenge of reusable cardboard (with Léa GOT, co-founder of HIPLI, and Mathieu BULTELLE, Business Development Manager at DS SMITH PACKAGING France)
- Materials: Solutions to avoid the 2030 PPWR deadline (with Nicolas PONT, Director of Circular Economy and Eco-Design at LÉKO, Sophie DE GUIGNÉ, Sustainable Packaging Marketing Manager at SUNTORY, Christophe RICHEZ, Director of Circular Economy and Public Affairs at BSH ÉLECTROMÉNAGER, and Eglantine CLÉMENT, Packaging Manager at GROUPE LE GRAËT)
This exceptional day will also feature pitches showcasing concrete feedback (Smurfit, La Redoute), award ceremonies (Stratégies Emballages trophies to reward managers of the year in the sector) and 45-minute participatory workshops led by specialists on a variety of topics (eco-design and life cycle analysis, the potential of 100% paper packaging, anticipating the 2025 regulatory framework, etc.).
The full programme can be viewed on the dedicated page of the Zero Impact Packaging website.
