As an exhibitor at ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS, Velfor presents its new website and celebrates the Ecovadis bronze medal awarded to its subsidiary Créaplast

Specialising in thermoforming and high-frequency welding and based in Saint-Pal-de-Chalencon (Haute-Loire), Velfor presents a new website with more intuitive navigation and enhanced content. This is an opportunity to (re)discover the offering of this multi-sector player (agri-food, health, industry, cosmetics, mass retail, etc.), which presents itself as a true ‘project co-developer’, capable of delivering a turnkey service across the entire line (concept, design, industrialisation, packaging of finished products, delivery to final points of sale). This offering is based on extensive experience (soon to be fifty years in business) and the expertise of a design centre capable of delivering tailor-made concepts and solutions.

CSR commitment

The group also stands out for the importance it attaches to the circular economy and issues related to sustainable development. This commitment has been symbolised since 2019 by the award and annual renewal of the MoRe (Mobilisés pour Recycler) label, which recognises the group’s efforts to incorporate recycled materials, reduce material thicknesses, reintroduce production waste into the manufacturing process and reflect on the actual energy consumption of its thermoforming machines. These efforts have once again been recognised with the Ecovadis bronze medal awarded to the subsidiary Créaplast (a specialist in the manufacture of transport and handling trays). As a reminder, Ecovadis enables companies to assess their practices based on an analysis of 21 criteria across four areas of CSR (environment, social, ethics and responsible purchasing).

In addition to Velfor Conditionnement, Velfor Industrie, Velfor Emballage and its Mechanical Division, the group has several industrial subsidiaries: Créaplast, as mentioned above, but also Amandis (customised and standard thermoformed solutions for the cosmetics, agri-food, POS and leisure sectors) and Lider (specialist in high-frequency welding).
