As an exhibitor at the ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS trade fair, the French food packaging manufacturer LEBHAR promotes its CSR actions

LEBHAR, EPPE Packaging, COLLIN, Le Menu Dubreuil: since the start of the new school year, the entire LEBHAR group has been awarded ECOVADIS certification. As a reminder, this certification allows companies to evaluate their practices based on 21 criteria spread over four key areas of CSR (environment, social, ethics and responsible purchasing).

‘Having obtained this badge, our CSR performance is already recognised, but we do not intend to stop there. This result, which bears witness to our efforts in the four key areas, also constitutes a solid basis for continued progress,’ says the Lebhar Group.

In a previous press release, the Lebhar Group detailed the main thrust of its CSR actions, centred on three key themes:

• ‘Working towards responsible’ production (developing plastic-free and 100% recyclable packaging, using raw materials with a low environmental impact, reducing and recovering waste within the group, improving the carbon footprint),
• ‘Valuing our employees and facilitating the integration of new talent’ (listening, discussing and proposing job changes, encouraging continuous training),
• ‘Contribute to the economic, societal and associative development of our territory’ (partner with local subcontractors, get involved in the professional integration of people with disabilities, sponsor associations).
