Fiorini International is going green
As an exhibitor at ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS, Fiorini International has just announced an expansion of its production site, marked by a commitment to CSR.
Founded in 1996, Fiorini International has over 50 years of experience in the production of paper packaging. After a year marked by the start of construction of a new 28,000 m2 factory in 2024, the company has just announced the purchase of 23 hectares of land near its main production site to support its ongoing organic growth. Of these 23 hectares, 16 will be dedicated to the construction of a forest composed of native species.
CSR
In this new complex, Fiorini International intends to develop a business marked by a commitment to CSR. Recycling of 100% of paper waste, large-scale installation of photovoltaic panels, exclusive use of FSC and PEFC paper, and Ecovadis Silver certification, which recognises the top 25% of companies worldwide in terms of social and environmental responsibility: many achievements have already been made in this area, but the new structure, which is currently undergoing LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification, includes plans to ‘increase the use of photovoltaic installations and expand common areas and green spaces to improve well-being and active participation in a sustainable lifestyle’.
