EvoFILL Can Compact: Sidel’s new versatile filling solution
Sidel expands its EvoFILL Can range to better meet the demand for small-volume beverage production
With spectacular growth predicted for the beer and soft drinks markets, manufacturers are looking for solutions capable of handling a wide variety of products. Expanding its EvoFILL Can range, Sidel’s new EvoFILL Can Compact meets this demand by offering high versatility in a compact format designed for small to medium-capacity production lines (up to 40,000 cans per hour). ‘Its ability to handle frequent product changes with minimal machine downtime, combined with state-of-the-art automation and a modular design, ensures reliable, high-level performance for carbonated and non-carbonated beverages, including products requiring hot filling, while maintaining speed and accuracy,’ summarises Tommaso Tegoni, Product Manager for Filling at Sidel.

Reduced TCO
Thanks to its plug-and-play design, the machine is easy to install and use. It integrates the filling block and seamer on the same frame, optimising space and reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO). Its filling accuracy is remarkable, with an error margin of less than 1 ml and product losses reduced to less than 0.1% according to Sidel.
It also allows hot or ambient temperature filling with minimal CO₂ losses for carbonated beverages. Its 98.5% efficiency rate ensures smooth, fast and hygienic production. The system is based on electro-pneumatic technology and magnetic flow meters, guaranteeing high reliability. Format changes are quick (less than 25 minutes), and hygiene is ensured by automatic cleaning without manual intervention, thanks to dummy closures and high-efficiency air filters.
