The update to Qimarox’s secure and flexible security fencing system is designed to improve compliance with recently renewed European standards

European machine safety standards are evolving and Qimarox is upgrading its products accordingly, including its Securyfence fencing system.
The new regulations impose stricter requirements on safety distances around machinery, with the aim of further reducing risks to employees in industrial environments,’ explains Qimarox, listing the main changes to its product:

  • Skirting boards and tunnels:Adjustments have been made to the required safety distances, involving the addition of new elements to standard fencing assemblies. Skirting boards are now used in certain areas, as well as tunnels at passage openings. These elements ensure that the moving parts of the machines are even better protected, keeping employees safe from potentially dangerous areas,
  • More compact footprint:By incorporating tunnels and optimising the design of our standard assemblies, fencing systems now take up less floor space. This offers greater flexibility in the layout of workspaces, without compromising safety ’.

These changes are also reflected in the quotations: ‘ From now on, tunnels will be included as standard in all new quotations for fencing systems. These changes ensure that Securyfence remains a leading solution for machine safety, in full compliance with the latest regulations and technological innovations,’ explains Qimarox.
