Leygatech wins another MORE label in 2022
The Leygatech company received the MORE label for the fourth consecutive year in recognition of its commitment to a sustainable economy.
Founded in 1994, Leygatech is a Rhone-based company specialising in the design and manufacture of plastic films and bags, as well as high-tech wrap for the agri-food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical sectors.
MORE, or “MObilised to REcycle” (MObilisés pour REcycler)
Created by the Federation of Plastics and Composites in 2019, the MORE label is awarded each year by Polyvia, the union of polymer processors, to companies for their commitment to the circular economy.
The label rewards economic players in the sector who advocate the sourcing of recycled plastic materials in their production, and is bestowed on the basis of company declarations of how much recycled material they use over the year.
Un quadruplé amplement mérité
On top of the company’s voluntary action programme to save energy and recover all waste from its operations, Leygatech has managed to design a wide and innovative range of packaging and plastic containers, which match the strict requirements of the agri-food and pharmaceutical sectors, and address environmental concerns.
Being awarded the MORE label for a fourth consecutive year is testament to Leygatech’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact and promoting a circular and sustainable economy. This is also made clear by the company’s choice of plastic materials, and innovative processes to develop the recyclability of end-of-life products.
