SWEN Blue Ocean and GO CAPITAL invest in Lactips in a new €16 million round of financing

Exhibiting at ALL4PACK EMBALLAGE PARIS, Lactips is a French company specialising in the production of a natural polymer that is 100% biosourced, water-soluble and biodegradable in different environments. This innovative company has just received a major boost with a fund-raising round that has seen new players (SWEN Blue Ocean and GO CAPITAL) join the company’s existing investors (Bpifrance through the SPI fund (Société de projets industriels) and BNP Paribas Développement).

In the press release accompanying this announcement, Lactips sets out the areas of development that should benefit from this capital injection:

• Accelerate sales development in Europe and continue to expand into the United States and Japan,
• Continue research and development efforts to expand the product range, improve performance and reduce environmental impact,
• Continue to invest in industrial facilities to support growth and optimise production capacity.
