KHS has announced that it is acquiring a majority stake in Tyrolon-Schulnig GmbH, an Austrian specialist in active bottle grippers.

On 25 November, the KHS Group announced that it had acquired a majority stake in Tyrolon-Schulnig GmbH. The cooperation between the two groups is not new: ‘ Tyrolon’s know-how is already being successfully used on KHS lines, with tried-and-tested equipment such as conveyor stars and neck clamping systems now being developed jointly. (…) Whether for a new line or as a retrofit package for existing machines, Tyrolon’s bottle-conveying technology is among the best in the world in terms of efficiency, flexibility and workplace safety. This expertise will now be integrated into the portfolio marketed by the holistic systems supplier KHS,’ KHS points out in a press release.

This holding brings together two companies that have already worked together very successfully in the past,’ confirms Martin Resch, Managing Director of the KHS Group. ‘ So not only does it make sense to further develop this knowledge by focusing on the high-performance range, it also provides our customers with significant added value, with systems and solutions now available from a single source.’
