Boplan expands its scope
Boplan has just announced the acquisition of polymer product manufacturer Celtiplast
Exhibiting at ALLFORPACK EMBALLAGE PARIS, Boplan is celebrating its 25th anniversary in style with the acquisition of Celtiplast, a polymer product manufacturer specialising in extrusion technology.
‘This strategic acquisition marks a new stage in Boplan’s growth strategy and guarantees vertical integration from the processing of aggregates to the installation of safety solutions for customers all over the world,’ Boplan comments in the press release accompanying this announcement.
‘The acquisition of Celtiplast is a logical step in our growth strategy. It allows us to optimise our production processes so that we are now fully vertically integrated. Celtiplast’s expertise in extrusion technology puts us in a unique position to continue strengthening our innovative strength,’ adds Xavier Ramon, CEO of Boplan.
Founded in 1999 in Wevelgem (Belgium), specialising in polymer safety solutions for industrial environments and sporting events, a benchmark in impact absorption, Boplan now has 280 employees and is present in more than 80 countries.
